The quality of snow, exceptional terrain and high elevation are just three of the reasons why the Austrian Ski Team chose Sun Peaks as their early season World Cup and 2010 Olympic training home. Female Athlete of the Century and Olympic champion Nancy Green also calls Sun Peaks Resort home.

Take the high speed quad lift to access more than 16 alpine trails offering panoramic mountain views. You might chance upon the odd hang-glider preparing to glide down the valley. Saddle up for a guided trail on horseback through the Sun Peaks’ back country. Hike the popular village loop or take the McGillivray Lake trail to nearby McGillivray Lake where you can discover the quiet beauty of the lake by canoe or kayak.
The Sun Peaks bike park features 609 m (2,000 vertical feet) of lift-accessed terrain on 37 separate trails spread over 70 kilometers of mountainside playground. Celebrating a decade of operation at Sun Peaks, our bike park is continiously enhanced and now includes 255 unique bike park features
Experience the added distance a golf ball travels at over 1,200 metres (3937 feet) above sea level. Sun Peaks' challenging 18-hole golf course, designed by Graham Cook, has the highest elevations of any golf course in Canada offering spectacular alpine views that are sure to take your breath away.
